What is the A2 level?
Level A2 can be classified as a
“base”; officially defined by the CEFR
as “elementary”. The student at this level is
able to communicate the simplest needs and
immediately. The examination to obtain the
A2 level certification is the Ket.

  • is able to understand common phrases and expressions, relative to macro-areas such as family, work or shopping.
  • is able to communicate in simple and routine activities and that require a simple exchange of information on topics such as family or common use.
  • is able to describe in simple terms aspects of his life, his surroundings and express immediate needs.
